When my wife and I visited Gary at Carrera Optical 14 years ago, our daughter had been diagnosed with Strabismus. We needed a true craftsman who could create a careful and exact pair of bifocals for a 4 month old child.
Gary knew everything the doctor asked for without being told. AND he stocked beautiful, tiny frames for infants, even though carrying that stock was probably did not make the best fiscal sense.
HE LET US TAKE A WHOLE BOX OF FRAMES HOME TO TRY ON OUR CHILD AND SELECT THE ONE WE WANT.
I told my wife, ""I will never go to another Optician."" And I haven't. Over the years Gary has fitted my daughter and I for many pairs of glasses. Sure you can get discount frames. But one pair of Gary's glasses once lasted me for 10 years.
Outstanding craftsmanship. Amazing service. He cares about his customers. What more can I say?
