Review content:
Once upon a time, in a land far, far away there was the Le Cirque of Chef Kuhn, when every morsel I ever ate was beyond superb and the the atmosphere was that of serious diners, not tourists admiring the beauty of the restaurant and ignoring the utter less than mediocre food. If you have a few hundred dollars to spend, do so at a restaurant that breathes creative dishes, not one that holds on to the past for dear life. It's unfortunate that a NYC institution such as my former beloved Le Cirque can take such a turn for the worse. On a more positive note the desserts were excellent and the service is still rather outstanding. I'd like to think I dined there on 3 off nights, but somehow I do not think so.
Pros: great service, excellent desserts, prompt seating
Cons: food
