Review content:
Disappointing, disappointing, disappointing. This was my first visit to the Red Lion Restaurant. I've driven by it many times and always thought it to be in a great location and very inviting. From the moment I walked in the door I could feel the disappointment sink in. We were seated in a newer addition to the old building which was cold, drafty and had no style or warmth but white walls. Every single one of the waitstaff appeared to be living in lala land. Instead of greeting us our waitress was apologizing for one thing or another the entire meal. She commented after the mistakes and mishaps along with extremely long wait time and screw up on a friends meal that both the owner and chef were ""out of town"". I found that hard to believe during the busy 5280 restaurant week. Once the mix up on the friends entree was brought to their attention one of the waiters had to ""check"" on it TWICE because he obviously wasn't aware of what the entree was supposed to include (described by their menu). Once our waitress finally came to the table, she fed us a lie about the entree we knew to be incorrect after watching others in the dining room get served the actual entree, very uncomfortable and angering. What happened to the customer's always right.... even when they ARE? That along with ho-hum food I would suggest you take your money else where. I will not be returning. Pros: location Cons: little bit of everything.
