Review content:
I purchased my first home using Leslie Evans with Keller Williams (KW). I will NEVER use or recommend a Keller Williams agent again. \r \r There were several incidences where services feel short. For example, when the appraised value of the home I was purchasing came back lower than the offer my real estate agent recommended, my KW agent, Leslie, came to me and told me I needed to push the bank for additional appraisals until we got the price needed to close the deal. I learned later that she should have gone back to the seller and negotiated the price down. My agent was just concerned with closing the deal and getting as high of a commision as possible, not helping me to make a good home purchase. I ended up overpaying by thousands, perhaps even tens of thousands. \r \r Also, my agent was absent from closing. This was my first home purchase and I had no idea what I was doing and my agent really should have made an effort to be there or send a collegue to walk me thru the process. \r \r Another thing I wish I had known to do was request repair of all items that came back unsatisfactory in the home inspection. I think most agents would walk a first time home-buyer through this. Now I'm stuck fixing these items at my time and expense.\r \r I don't know what kind of training programs KW has for their agents, but I was highly dissatified with my Keller Williams experience. My recommendation is to stay far far away from this group.
