Review content:
I came to OneWorld after more than six months away from the derby scene. I was on another league previously. I had taken a break and was looking to get back into playing but wasn't sure if I would have the time to commit as that was an issue previously. I work full time and have kids, lots of kids, so trying to get to late night practices and team meetings, and committee meetings was always a challenge. \r
\r
When I went to my first practice I noticed quite a few things that were outstanding. New skaters were integrated in with advanced skaters. They were treated with respect and were being taught in a way that everyone can relate to. I have skated for years and have never seen this type of team atmosphere. The league as a whole trains together. Teams are broken up but only when a game is upcoming. Everyone works together and tries to make sure that everyone gets a fighting chance to excel. \r
\r
Everyone works together to make sure that the league stays positive and uplifting. I love it here.
