My wife and I stopped in for a romantic dinner on our way to a Bobcats game. It all started out fine, service was good and menu was interesting, however, things went downhill quickly! Our food arrived after quite some time (and it wasn't busy) . We were finally enjoying our peaceful evening when the Chef appeared at our table, pulled up a seat, lit a cigarette, barked orders at the waiter to ""get him an espresso"" and overwhelmed us with his list of attributes? We felt rushed to get finished in order to get away from the smoke and attributes. We didn't think things could get worse when a tall woman, who was the ""Boss"" according to the chef, decided to verbally humiliate our waiter within ear-shot of the costumers. I found this to be very uncomfortable and after bringing our server to near tears, we now had to wait for our check while this young man regained his composure. Needless to say, we will not return nor recommend this spot to our friends. It's a shame that a place with such a dynamic location and ambience can become such a nightmare experience.
