How had I never heard of this place? I went in for lunch today with a co-worker who had been there before(honestly I was doubtful since it is connected with a Holiday Inn, but the place looks nothing like a Holiday Inn... it looks nicer than the Hilton!) and was completely blown away. I went today (Wednesdays they have a Mexican buffet, each weekday is different) and honestly had the best quesadillas I had ever tasted! I think we only paid around $11 or $12! The staff was prompt, professional and very friendly. The dinner menu looks amazing and the lunch staff was able to give me some recommendations, so I'll be back for the duck confit ... I can agree with the previous couple of reviews. This place was great. I had filet with grilled shrimp cooked medium and they did it perfectly (I'm very particular about my steak) The waiter was professional yet friendly and very helpful. He helped us choose a great wine that went with both of our dishes. In fact, the whole staff seemed to be very pleasant. I went with my boyfriend and he got the duck with a port wine reduction. That was delicous! I'm going to have to go back just to get the duck all to myself. We went for restaurant week just to check it out but we will definitely be back for both casual and special occasions. We still have a ways to go to get through the menu. Oh yeah, and they validated our parking in the ramp. Couldn't ask for more. Pros: Great food and service. Validated parking in downtown. more

My fiance and I came here for a romantic dinner last weekend and were we ever delighted! The food was absolutely superb, the service was fantistic, the ambiance was fabulous- it was just an all around wonderful dining experience. Give this place a go-- you won't regret it! My wife and I stopped in for a romantic dinner on our way to a Bobcats game. It all started out fine, service was good and menu was interesting, however, things went downhill quickly! Our food arrived after quite some time (and it wasn't busy) . We were finally enjoying our peaceful evening when the Chef appeared at our table, pulled up a seat, lit a cigarette, barked orders at the waiter to ""get him an espresso"" and overwhelmed us with his list of attributes? We felt rushed to get finished in order to get away from the smoke and attributes. We didn't think things could get worse when a tall woman, who was the ""Boss"" according to the chef, decided to verbally humiliate our waiter within ear-shot of the costumers. I found this to be very uncomfortable and after bringing our server to near tears, we now had to wait for our check while this young man regained his composure. Needless to say, we will not return nor recommend this spot to our friends. It's a shame that a place with such a dynamic location and ambience can become such a nightmare experience.
