Thank god I called David White when I got arrested for a DWI. Texas is not the most lenient place when it comes to drunk driving, so if you're ever arrested in Austin like I was, you better get a really good lawyer. It was a ridiculous trumped up charge, and I thought the cop just wanted to show me who the boss was. It's true that I really shouldn't have argued with the officer, but he was being so blatant. I thought I was going to get a ticket for speeding, but he used the fact I was arguing as proof that I was belligerent from drinking! It was clear that he was gonna say I was drinking no matter what I did. \r

At first, I wasn't sure who to call. I wasn't sure I could afford David White, but after I called for a free consultation, he assured me that I could work out a payment plan, so that made me feel a lot better. I wanted the best defense, but if I couldn't afford it that doesn't matter. Fortunately I could, so he got right to work on my case so I could get on with my life as soon as possible. \r

I guess that's a good sign because then they are happy to listen to him when he presents evidence that proves I was innocent. They dropped the charges, and I was able to finish making my payments since I was able to keep my job. Thanks to David, I was able to prove to my family and my work that I'm not an irresponsible drinker. If you're looking for a good criminal lawyer that can work with you even if you're short on cash, you should call White & Measells. It'll be the best thing you can do to help yourself.
