I just came from Lansdown Road after our company of 120+ people descended upon the bar without warning after our building was evacuated from a fire (which was extinguished without incident, btw). At 11:30am, with one bartender, one server, a manager and small kitchen staff, they rallied to serve us lunch and drinks quickly, efficiently and pleasantly. We were so happy! The manager was awesome--he bused tables, played DJ, served (and probably cooked food, too) and arranged a buffet for us in a matter of minutes. He alone gets five stars in my book! Thank you to everyone at Lansdown for making us feel welcomed and at home after a very hectic morning. We will always return and encourages others to make this joint their neighborhood hang too. :)
Pros: Great service, great selection, multiple TVs, excellent bar
Cons: Solid bar food (and pretty good salads too)
