Surrounded by the variety of businesses on Mason Road in Katy, Hyper Audio is probably the best place in town to have custom audio work done. They've got high quality brands to choose from, and if you ask nicely, will do free installation. They were able to help me out in a pinch when the failure of my factory speakers caused my amp to go out. I walked in on a Saturday afternoon, and within a couple of hours, I was able to drive home with four new Memphis speakers and a replacement for my burned out amp. They were quick, and reasonable.\r \r The man working the front (salesman? owner?) seemed a little standoff-ish. He wasn't rude or anything, but just seemed to have other things on his mind other than customers. However, he was very knowledgeable about all sorts of brands, and was able to satisfy all of my questions. Once the work was done, a technician was friendly enough to explain to me everything that was done, showed me how it was wired, and even sat there and adjusted the levels until it sounded the way I wanted it.\r \r I live in Austin now, but for all of my audio needs, I'll be driving back to Katy to come here. Pros: Knowledgeable, custom work, friendly, flexible Cons: Guy working the front seems to have other things on his mind
