Review content:
I'm really bothered that i've been forced to write this review. I've gone to this restaurant consistently for the past 8 years and have always raved about their service. The food is excellent, really inexpensive and the variety of pasta is a major plus. However, after having dinner there yesterday (which was a Friday) I will never give them my business again. My party of 3 ordered 2 appetizers, 3 entrees and a bottle of wine. After finishing our bottle of wine, we asked the waiter for the wine menu to order another. He comes back to the table 5 minutes later and says he can't serve us another bottle because they need to free up the table. I grabbed the owner/manager and asked her why we weren't being served another bottle. She proceeds to give us a long rundown about how ""it's bad for their business to let people sit a table and drink when they need to keep tables open. That a $6 glass of wine isn't worth it for them because there dinner menu is too inexpensive. They can't afford to lose other business. If it were a Tuesday not a Friday it would be different and on and on""... Gasp!... I could not believe what I was hearing, in a restaurant, from the manager. I'm also more confused because we were about to order another ""bottle"" (not a glass) which would have likely turned into another bottle, plus dessert. Who's to say the next customer may have only ordered 2 entrees only and no alcohol???... Sorry, my rant is so long... ugh!... Still fuming! This is not an acceptable way to treat a customer and totally ridiculous... Time to look for a new neighborhood Italian spot!\r
Pros: excellent inexpensive Italian food
Cons: bad service
