TERRIBLE!!! I just got my scooter back today finally (2 weeks late from the quoted date). All I needed done was brake pads changed and transmission fluid changed and a new exhaust gasket. He quoted me an hour so I figured it would be a little over $100 with their $70/hr labor charge and parts. Eric said it would be done by Monday/Tuesday... I finally get a hold of them on the Friday after because they don't answer the phone, don't have their voicemail setup, and don't call people back. He said he had to order some parts so it would be a little longer... sure would have been nice to know before the quoted completion date!!!
I tried calling again the following Tuesday after the weekend, again... no answer... so I went to the shop around 10am (their hours stated on google places is from 9am-4pm) and there's no-one there. Couldn't get ahold of anyone Wednesday either. Finally talk to someone Thursday afternoon and they say they need to test drive it in the morning and then I can pick it up. I asked him what my damage was and he said $120, as I would have assumed.
I call Friday at around 1pm and he still hasn't test driven it, talking down to me like i'm stupid. I told him I'd be down in an hour to get it. When I got there today he says it's going to be $200+ dollars to get my scooter back after just the day before telling me it was going to be $120. They end up charging me $30 for front brakepads that you can buy online for $3 and $50 for rear brake drum shoes that you can buy online for $15.
These guys failed to meet their own expectations a number of times. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH A-1 SCOOTERS UNLESS YOU HAVE MONEY TO BURN AND WANT TO BE TALKED TO LIKE YOU'RE AN IDIOT!!!
