So the food is really good and they have a good variety. The problem is this place is not run very well in any other area. The service was horrible, the food took 40 minutes, the cost for 3 people to eat was $50.00, and the portions are not the biggest. We were soured from the get go when the waiter was not even nice about telling us that they do not split checks. This has to be one of 5 places left in the world that will not take a debit/credit card. Their policy of cash only really makes it unreasonable that they wouldnt split a party of 5 check in half. Everything is an additional price, if you want strawberry syrup instead of maple, $1.50 extra. Soda is canned, not fountain at $1.50 per can. To top it all off, its funny but they are completely serious about their wall of rules when you walk in. Rules such as, please leave your table as soon as you're done eating to free them up for others. They discourage you digesting your food with a cup of coffee at the end. This is definitely the Hitler Diner. Also, regardless of the size of your party, 18% gratuity is added to the check....kinda lame when you get a horrible waiter like we had.
