Review content:
I go to this store a lot. Some of the people who work here are definitely friendlier/warmer than others, but I don't think I've ever seen anyone be rude (reserved, but not rude). It's true that if you need a lot of help with a project, and you come on a busy day, you may not get all the help you feel you need (especially if you purchased your yarn somewhere else), but I do think that the sales people do a sincere job of trying to help knitters with projects when the store isn't too busy. \r

With that said, I think that this is the best knitting store in Los Angeles, without question. The shop carries a comprehensive selection of high-end yarn -- Koigu, Colinette, Rowan, GGH, Debbie Bliss, among others, a terrific selection of books and magazines (including Rebecca), and every tool you could ever want. The shop is spacious, beautiful, and brightly lit, so you're not falling over other people in the aisles, and the price of every yarn is clearly marked. The classes are also excellent.
