This is one tough club to review. Tucked away in a small corner of Houston it has a friendly atmosphere, decent DJ and Staff and friendly patrons. It's reminds me of ""Cheers"" the bar with a dance floor and pool hall. It's small enough to feel like a neighborhood dance place but large enough to feel comfortable and dance.\r \r On Saturday Night the place is moderately busy, but not wall to wall. There is room on the modest dance floor but be warned that the floor is very slick and covered in dance wax (that dreaded substance that legitimate dancers don't want to see). While I didn't mind the floor too much it is very very fast...so be warned and bring your sneakers if you need to be careful.\r \r The DJ doesn't get into much of a rhythm with his rotation of songs, but the music is actually fairly upbeat and reasonable speeds. He does rotate (usually one song a piece) between polka, 2step, waltz, nightclub, WCS, ECS, triple two but not always in a set order. \r \r There is no cover change.\r \r All in all if you want to take the girlfriend or wife out and dance in a quiet friendly environment this is a good choice. Not really a place to ""meet up"" with people you don't know although it's possible. I hear that Tuesdays are the ""dancers night"" of choice here, but Saturday night was just fine too.
