Humane Society of the Palouse may have a mission statement that implies that they are there ""to ensure the humane treatment, welfare, and safety of companion animals in Moscow and Latah county"" but the incompetent staff seriously hinders that capacity.
If you would like to be chastised and belittled, by all means stop by the Humane Society of the Palouse for a nice verbal lashing from their vindictive staff.
If you would like for them to contact people you know and inform them of the animal that you had to give up, indeed stop by the Humane Society of the Palouse for envenomed calls to your employers.
This Humane shelter has few redeeming qualities other than being the only place in Moscow, ID to adopt our your animal, but given their attitudes towards clients they appear to prefer you set them out in the wild.
The staff refuses to put you through to management or engage in conflict resolution, avoid at all costs.
