Review content:
I wanted to write this from a husband's perspective, which actually gives a good look in to the operations of the office and the treatment one receives. I am extremely lucky that I was able to accompany my wife on every visit during the pregnancy of our first baby. We were referred to ""Compete Women's Care Center"" by a friend, and it ended up being the best choice we have made in a long time. From the first visit, I, yes ""I"" the husband, felt extremely happy with the treatment of my wife and the care that the doctors, especially Dr. Hardwick-Smith gave her. This child is my first, and even though my wife carried her, I felt incredibly nervous until I walked through the double glass-doors in to a warm, welcoming environment. From the first visit until the last, we were treated to an incredible journey of affection and kindness, which I believe affected the entire pregnancy. Brandi was amazing, Dr. Jurney was amazing, Dr. Beard was amazing, but most of all Dr. Hardwick-Smith. I wasn't even pregnant, I wasn't the patient, but I felt like we connected with the doctors at CWCC on an equal level, almost like after the visit we could all go and ""hang out together"". Dr. Hardwick-Smith gave enormous effort to making sure that we were comfortable, including through the entire labor-phase. We had a semi-complication, and she put it all out on the table and made us entirely comfortable with what we faced. She wasn't even supposed to be on that shift, but she made sure that she was there when we needed her most. Yes, there may be a wait at some point in the office, but have you ever stopped to think, ""why""? Would you rather have your Doctor, who has seen you on so many occasions and knows you and your body personally, in the office seeing patients at an incredible rate, or with you on your most ""special"" day? I would easily wait 2+ hours on every ""regular"" visit, just to have Dr. Hardwick-Smith constantly overseeing my wife's and daughter's well-being on the delivery day. She was there constantly, filling us in, allowing us to understand all the changes. It was an incredible experience. My wife and I looked forward to every visit, and of course, the baby and her development was the emphasis, but the knowledge that CWCC exhibited was amazing, and now we have an extremely happy baby girl that benefited from a well-kept pregnancy. I understand that this is a strange view, but I think that having some one see the progression from an outside perspective is a definite plus, especially when that someone is so emotionally involved. As long as we live, and as long as my friends and family ask us for recommendations, we will send them to CWCC. I feel we are so lucky to find such a professional group, and I am so lucky that I was able to experience every visit and the entire term of the pregnancy. Yes, I am a man, a husband, a father. I am so proud of my daughter and my wife. I was lucky to experience this wonderful event, and if I had to do it over again, I would change nothing. We owe so much to CWCC, and I feel like our debt can never be repaid. I hope you give them a chance, it was the best decision (besides having a daughter!) that we have ever made! J, K, and A Pros: Felt at home, actually enjoyed the ""visit"" Cons: Absolutley none....
