I just took a NuCulinary Korean Cooking class in Renton and loved it. It was a demonstration class, though they also have hands on - the chef did an excellent job, very professional but also friendly and conversational. He gave us lots of helpful tidbits about the ingredients and how to prepare them...sometimes it's just nice to see someone else do it first! The recipe was a fairly easy one, but not one I would have tried on my own. Also super helpful was a little tour of Uwajimaya after class - nice to get an idea of the layout and know where to find those special ingredients for next time...plus was a special chance to ask any remaining questions. So, overall, loved my experience at NuCulinary and look forward to signing up for more classes in the future. Also worth noting...NuCulinary has several class locations, so there's probably one near you!
