Review content:
I recently had Carpet King to installed carpet in my home. The sales Allen told me it would be finished in one day. The total price is $1,600, he wanted me to pay $1,280 and the $320 pay after the job was done. I was so stupid and I paied. Feb. 24, 2008 the job was started. In the afternoon I received a call and was told that the job was fininshed. I was so happy and went to the house. All the doors at carpet area could not open. The molding was broken in some areas and the paint came off. Then the sales came and claimed that it never happened before. In order to save money he told the carpet guy cut all inside doors without even measure and claimed that the furniture wiould cover the damaged molding. Then he scheduled a carpenter to fix two outside doors. When the carpenter came he cut the doors and put two plastice belt on the door and that was it. I had hard time to open and close door. I complained to main office, the guy Wyne challenged me if the contract including fix doors? So I said okay see you in court. Finally they agreed to pay $150 to fix the doors and they would send the carpet guy to fix the carpet. Unfortunately after the carpet guy fix the carpet at door side the carpet on the wall side came out. When I called Alen he either did not answer my call or told me he did not know when the carpet guy could come to do that 10 minutes job after I had waited a whole week. He did not want to do anything about the molding either. He always said that he could do nothing and did not push him. What kind of service, Carpet King?
