This restaurant never ceases to surprise me, mainly because it's a chain but (except for the front room selling paraphenalia) never comes across as one.
I have a serious weakness for breakfasts, and their Country Sampler is my favorite breakfast. It's a crying shame that they haven't opened one of these in Lawrence, because it forces me to make the thirty minute drive to Olathe for my favorite breakfast.
The breakfasts aren't the only dishes that are good, however. I love the chicken and chicken fried steaks, too.
