Review content:
An organization i am part of have a party there last Fri. Most of the people around the dance area were people I knew, so when a friend encouraged me to put my purse down near where we were dancing, I did.
Not long after my purse was gone. I was frantic to try to find it quickly in hopes the thief hadn't left the bar yet. The bouncers and staff were unhelpful and seemed really annoyed by me when i told them what happened.
Not long after my purse was found in the parking lot sans brand new Blackberry and credit card.
The manager was completely unapologetic and was accusatory to me. He said, ""YOU left it in the parking lot"" to which I replied ""I (emphasis) did not leave it in the parking lot"" (btw, i parked on the street). Then he proceeded to scold me for bringing my purse into the club instead of leaving it my car! Yeah, that sounds like normal, practical behavior and sounds safe (sarcasm)!
Blaming the victim for theft in your club is NOT a good way to spread positive word of mouth and to encourage repeat patronage.
FAIL!
Pros: friendly and competent bar staff and great music to dance to
Cons: thieves and asshole manager
