Review content:
TLC is one of those companies that tries to do everything as cheaply as possible. They hire inexperienced ""managers"" who will work for a pittance because they like to feel powerful and like they have a good job, but are totally incompetent. It is almost impossible to get ahold of them if you have a problem, they are never in their offices and their phones are always busy. They have no emergency maintenance, so you better hope your pipes don't break in the middle of the night because they aren't going to help you. If you do get the ""maintenance man"" over, he's just a glorified handyman that they send on the cheap to do what should be handled by a plumber/electrician, etc. They are used to renting to poor people, so they'll treat you like they think you're trash. If you are a student moving to Lubbock, don't be enticed by the low rents. Know that any property owner who uses this cut-rate management company is a borderline slumlord.\r
