Review content:
THE GOOD NEWS\r i eat at alot of diners and honestly this place has to be one of my favorites, the food quality is very very good, i would pticularly recommend their burgers, with the one caviat being that their veggie burger isnt great (it seems to be of the frozen variety) but their regular hamburgers (cooked medium) are very good. they also have great pasta dishes too. their portions are very large, but i suppose thats standard for a diner. the bottom line is this, the blue bay is pretty busy so high turnover equals fresher ingrediants. honestly i have only ordered breakfast, burgers and a few entrees. so far i have been fairly iimpressed. also, their deserts are amazing, if you do go their you shoul definately get their napoleoo, its friggin gigantic, and topped with gobs of whipped cream. the layer cakes are good too, the apple pie is O.K. \r \r THE BAD NEWS\r -the front end guy is oblivious, if you dont light yourself on fire he probably wont even notice your there.\r -the overhead lighting on the inner booth seats are used by small communist countries to blind politocal dissidents and every surface being mirror finish marble doesnt help, dont sit at the ineer booths. go for windows or the ones on the right hand side of the door.\r -they are not fast, even when it doesnt seem busy :(\r -you have to park in the shopping center lot, facing away from the windows. its not a bad neighborhood at all, i just dont like that parking arrrangement.\r \r THE BOTTOM LINE\r the front end is a problem, they are a bit slow but as far as diners go the food quality here is great, at least if you dont get creative, again alli have ordered is burgers, breakfast, chicken marsala, chicken parmigiana, and a few pasta dishes. i cant honestly speak for anything else. the only diner i can think of thats better is a place called the moriches bay diner, which is THE single best diner on the planet!!!!! (but is also 1 and 1/2 hours away :( on the island.\r \r ALSO IMPORTANT\r there is a waiter there called hasan, he is absolutely delightful, if is tere try if you can to gt him, he will remeber your name and is always friendlyand pleasant.
