Review content:
We were passing through Lake Placid after a wonderfull hike on Mt. Vanhougenberg and decided to grab a quick bite. We saw this sign for the Carribean Cowboy and it looked like a small bar. We thought we would be just grabing some fast bar food and heading home. When we stepped in and saw the menu it was clear this was much more than a bar. The atmosphere and the decorations made you feel like you had just landed on a Carribean island, and if I were to step outside there would suddenly be an ocean and sand just out the door. We were the first table of the night and once they began to cook you were consumed with amazingly sweet smells. I had the J erk Chicken and it was so... tastey. It was covered in a sweet and spicy BBQ sauce, and topped with manga mojo. My husband had some sort of steak dish but he ate it so... quickly I honestly can't tell you what it was but it must have been good because it was gone in a flash and then he finished mine! We finished with a desert which was just a tasty as dinner. This is my new favorite restraunt. I can't wait to return and try a new dish. I am thinking the seafood qasadillas, they have crawfish and shrimp, mmmmm....
Pros: Ambience. Food tast and presentation.
Cons: Can't think of any.
