I was really excited to try this shop last week, it?s cute, close to home and not too crowded. I?m sorry to say that I was really disappointed. I?ve never written a complaint to a company before, so I?m not just being dramatic. Here?s what went wrong; I came in, there were 2 people behind the counter, a guy and a girl. The girl was too busy sending text messages to say hi and the guy just sort of stared blankly, as though my presence was really confusing. He finally took my order but i was disappointed to learn that your ""hot"" food items had all been sitting under the heat lamp for at least an hour (I was told that the ""freshest"" one had ""only"" been made an hour ago... huh?) Needless to say, it was soggy and not so tasty. Finally, I was excited to see that you use Tazo Chai, my favorite, I figured at least the Chai would be good... nope, not at all. The girl finally put her phone down to make it but she messed up the order (tea and milk, not so hard) when she made the drink a second time she put a splash of Chai into a tall glass of milk. I could barely taste the tea. The store is cute but the food is not fresh and the employees are apathetic. A new staff and menu revamp could do wonders for a store with lots of potential in a great location.
