I drove my father to Stone Oak Jewelers last week when dad wanted to sell some of his old gold coins. I offered to take him to some place I know of but he said he'd already got a referral to this place from one of his poker buddies so that's where we went. The store was very nice and very clean with a very nice selection of jewelry for sale. But what fascinated me was the equipment they use to evaluate your gold. It's like this laser machine box thing, he puts the gold in it, and in a few seconds a chart comes up on the computer screen telling us exactly what's in each gold coin, that was really hi-tech and very cool. The owner Dan explained how he can pay more because his equipment takes the guess work out of the equation. So anyway dad got his money and was very happy. Hope this helps...
