Review content:
Unable to connect with my stylist of 10 years (in a gotta get a cut NOW moment) brought me to an exceptionally talented artist named Melinda at Red Market Salon. Her understanding, perspective and focus brought an unusual sense of comfort for this 1st time visit. The unexpected ease of my experience was only surpassed by her work. As difficult as it was not having the comfort zone of John (the 10 year man), Melinda was sympathetic to my apprehensiveness. She gave me a cut that was exactly what I hoped for, not her ""artistic interpretation"" or some ""visual statement"" as many stylists take the liberty to do. Not impressed with the vibe, aura, complimentary champagne or attitude of salons like this, it's about the work. I'd get my haircut in a phone booth if the stylist is good.....and if Melinda someday cuts from one, I'll be the guy without the champagne and the big smile.
