Deplorable staff. My mom was sent here to get built back up and a little more self sufficient after several bad falls resulting in her breaking her hips. She had also had pnemonia a few times. The first night she was there I arrived to find her moaning in pain and was advised by the staff that despite them calling their staff doctor 3 times her prescriptions had not been written. I went home and brought her medication from home so that she would not suffer. Since then her 10 pm meds have been over an hour late twice and one day they left out a dose of pain medication entirely. She has to start calling for meds at 9 if she wants them to get there by 10. They simply do not respond to the call lights, nevermind trying to find an actual person.\r

The newest blow has been her day pass to get her military id updated. They told her it had been written and when she was getting ready to leave they told her that the ""social worker"" who wrote it had no authority to do so. They then proceeded to tell her that her son in law was not allowed to take her to dr apts despite the fact that her roomate's son is allowed to take her whenever she needs to go. Plus she spent the previous weekend seeing people coming and going with their families but she is apparently no allowed to.\r

They also tell their patients that their behavior is ""unacceptable"" if they moan when in pain. They are told to be quiet. If you are in a wheelchair with an oxygen bottle you will be reprimanded if you do not immediately remove the line from the bottle when you roll through the door of your room and hook into house oxygen. The nurses will tell the patients that their behavior is unacceptable and that they are costing them (the nurse) money by using that oxygen, that it is too expensive. Funny thing but in the past my mother's insurance has been billed for her oxygen, not the nurse hooking it up.\r
\r
If I could give a rating below 1 star I would. Horrible experience overall.\r

Pros: Beautiful Facility
Cons: The Staff, The Doctors
