i've been getting my braids done at afrigenix for years. the staff is very friendly and definitely care about the health of your hair. i trust them with braiding my hair. i've been going there for so long so they know what i like. i always get compliments on my braids. from what i've seen of other clients, they do an amazing job with weaves and extensions.\r
it is clear that their expertise is in braiding and weaves. for relaxed hair styling, i probably wouldn't recommend them. they don't have many stylists there that do relaxed hair styling. also, i wish that they had better evening hours. as someone who works full time, it's tough to leave the office at 5PM for a 5:30 appointment.
Pros: friendly staff, nonpretentious atmosphere
