Review content:
This was a busy Saturday night. When we walked in, there was absolutely no indication of where to go to check in. The four of us started on a hunt to figure out how to check in. I finally found a check-in station against a wall, surrounded by about 20 people who had no where to go. The restaurant was packed, but there was no where for people to wait. After being rudely told I was standing in the wrong spot (I was on the side of the check-in station, not the front, bad naughty customer), once I talked to the host, it took several tries to find our reservations. The name was scrambled , the phone number only had about 1/2 the digits correct. We had to scroll through all the 7pm reservations to find mine. Once we got our buzzer, we couldn't do anything other than stand there and wait. There was no way we could move as there was no place to wait. While we waited, we saw 4 other groups get turned away because their reservations could not be found in the computer. One poor guy was there with a large family, they had to leave and try to find another restaurant on a Saturday night. After waiting about 20 minutes (within my tolerance rate), we were finallly seated. I did go back to the check in station to get the name of the guy at the check-in counter who couldn't do his job. This got the attention of the manager, who came to our table when our appetizers appeared. He was very apologetic about the whole affair, and felt really bad. The food was really outstanding, that is the only reason I gave them any stars at all, so I am torn as to whether or not I will return. I was there with just a small group of 4, but was also checking out the restaurant for an upcoming corporate outing. I'm not sure if I will return there. Perhaps during the week, but certainly not in the weekend, and certainly not when the same guy is manning the check-in counter. (I'll spare him the embarrassment of puting his name in the review) Pros: Food as the only reason it got any stars at all Cons: Can't deal with restaurant more than 50% full
