Review content:
I have to say that I am VERY disappointed in this local restaurant. It has so much potential... to be a wonderful eatery but to my dismay breakfast, lunch and dinner all fall below par. What amazes me is that this place is constantly busy... yet the food is very bland and nothing spectacular. I thought I would give them a chance for dinner after my attempts at breakfast and lunch fell short.... but the spaghetti meal was horrible. The pasta was cold, the sauce was horrible with two dried out meatballs and the garlic bread had to be from a box. I was hoping for some homemade sauce that had been stewing all day... I can just see this restaurant with so much more potential.... Homemade mouth watering deli sandwiches and soups for lunch, homemade dinners to crave for and a place for a family to relax. Maybe this place needs a visit from Chef Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares..... Papa's Cafe has the potential for a great local eatery specializing in home cooking...which the great community of Harker Heights lacks! To close I just want to touch on the cleanliness of this establishment... the tables are horrid. Maybe someone needs to get a hold of a ""Magic Eraser"" and some elbow grease and get the ground in dirt out! Cons: bland and needs a scrubbing
