Review content:
If you have not visited Chez Nous, you are missing a chance of a lifetime. Authentic french food, wine, fanfare, tradition, and true respect and presentation of the art of dining. All this without crossing the ocean. The last wine appreciation dinner that I attended was resplendent with an amazing six course meal with specially selected wines. During each taste, I had to focus on moving the food, as well as the wine gently in my mouth to appreciate all of the chef's subtle efforts for my pleasure. Also, Scott's wine narration was the most detailed and knowledgeable I have ever heard. If you miss the wine dinners, you will love the chef's choice menus. Danielle (chef Gerard's daughter) is an angel in the dining room, and always makes you feel like royalty. The chateaubriand is a masterpiece if beef is your pleasure. If you are looking to impress business associates or that one someone you love...this is the place. I have had many successful recruting dinners here in the private rooms, and also was given my engagement ring at an intimate corner table in the main dining room. I said yes!\r \r The desserts make your heart sore. The chocolate basket is a family favorite. The chefs demonstrate time and again the virtues of local growers, so if you are avoiding french food because of political reasons, you are actually harming our local Texas food artisans. You will taste the difference that a fine chef can make with even the most simple vegetables, such as the exquisite fresh beets. This is one time where you really should, ""eat your vegies"". Come to Chez Nous planning on an evening of gastronomic pampering.\r \r How do you keep them down on the farm, after they've seen Paris? Take a trip to Chez Nous! Chefs Gerard and Stacy will show you how.\r Pros: Ambience, Very impressive dining experience
