Review content:
I was feeling very optimistic about Lone Star Boxing. My nine-year-old son was losing weight, was running faster then I had seen him run in years and finally had a place blow off some steam. Unfortunately, the instructor, is not good with kids. He made my son cry, almost every day. Not because he worked him too hard, but because he was mean. My son came home, often, convinced that the instructor did not like him. -I was constantly trying to undo the damage that he did to my son's ego. This particular Instructor was lacking in experience working with children and professionalism with the parents, to the point where he was confrontational and verbally abusive. Accusing me of being a bad parent when I tried to calm my son down, after he (the instructor) had made him (my son) cry. I would not recommend this place to anyone who has a sensitive child, or anyone under the age of 13-years-old. Pros: Great exercise Cons: Made my child feel badly about himself
