Review content:
Went for their first official night open to the public. All I can say is... WOW! Our party of 6 was shown to a comfy bed. The 5-course dinner (no menu - you get what they dream up) was inventive and yummy - pumpkin & goat cheese salad, duck & mushroom soup, tuna tatar on orange beets, halibut, and this apple/berry/whipped cream concocotion that had the table going crazy.
During dinner a DJ played amazing music ranging from obscure French ballads to downtempo to dub to upbeat house all corresponding with the meal. The lighting also randomly changed throughout the meal.
The crowd was eclectic and fun - think Miami chic minus the attitude with a good dose of Burning Man. Interesting characters in elaborate costumes floated by as performers delighted us with everything from performance art to campy drag queen numbers.
Pros: unique, very fun, great food
Cons: expensive drinks, eat on lap
