Review content:
I've been to this Melting Pot location three times. We were living in Orlando for a while and had several visits to two different locations (including the flagship location which I believe is now closed). All the visits were based on requests by our kids for some special occasion. All locations were consistent in food quality and service.
For the price we paid I would expected the food to taste much better than it did. The salad was good and the cheese fondue appetizer was delicious. The entrees were mediocre at best. This chain is a great place to impress someone on a date or take a young teen for a special occasion like birthday or graduation as it's a unique experience.
Service: At first I thought the lack of attention was because the servers wanted the customer to have a leisurely enjoyable dinner without feeling rushed. BUT I would have expected at the least to not have to constantly look for someone to bring us drink refills.
I have to rate 3 stars as the restaurant, in my opinion, is only OK.
Pros: For special occasions
Cons: EXPENSIVE, Mediocre food, slow service
