Businiess name:  Chin Tao Chinese & Japanise

Review content:
As of May 2009, I definitely recommend Chin Tao (corner of Jones and Grant behind the McDonalds and the gas station). We have been going there for a dozen years. From the beginning they have remembered us and have always been especially sweet to our children. Things changed after they re-modeled. They reduced their wait-staff since most of their business is delivery/take-out and every time we went it was a different - untrained - person. The food quality was inconsistent and the owner was often not there. But, they turned things around. The owner is always there and it shows. They hired more staff, who provide terrific service, and the food is back to being the best in town. Where else can you get both top-notch Chinese and Japanese food in a quiet family environment ? The owner knows his sushi and will be happy to explain the menu choices. Give them a try. Pros: Everything is top-drawer again Cons: Inconsistent this last year
