Businiess name:  Angry Dog

Review content:
Like a traditional bar/restaurant in the down n' dirty slum, the Angry Dog looks broken down, with various mementos scattering the walls, but that's okay since it's meant to look that way. The atmosphere demands a close and friendly relationship with the people around you, as the place is small and normally PACKED! The waitstaff are really nice, albeit sometimes overworked, but you'll have a good time. The men's restroom is clean, and the walls are littered with pictures of ""less-than-dressed"" women. They wouldn't let me into the women's to see what that had, however.\r \r The noise levels in Angry Dog range from loud to LOUDER, so don't go there for a study session. I think there's some music playing in the background too, but I can't here it over all the talking.\r \r The menu consists of the good ol' American standbys, which are guaranteed to give you a heart attack: burgers, hot dogs, BLT's, chicken sandwiches, etc. Of the non-sandwich varieties are chicken wings, cheese sitx, nachos, stuffed jalapenos, quesadillas, queso, guacamole, salsa, french fries, and even some chili. Any of the various finger foods served requires copious amounts of sharing with others. If you're there with a big group, you can get away with lots of free finger food from others, but what comes around goes around. All the food is what I expect: good, cheap, and likely to make your cholesterol skyrocket. But it's good! YUM YUM YUM!\r \r The only downside is that it's in Deep Ellum, and finding parking is difficult. Once 2 am hits the streets are clogged with gridlocked cars. Plus there's a bit of a crime problem there, so I sometimes fear for my precious car. Once the DART rail station opens in Deep Ellum these problems will greatly decrease. I'm not going to knock down my rating, because the Angry Dog has no control over this. Pros: Burgers, party atmosphere, finger foods Cons: parking, noise
