Review content:
We were charged $2,500.00 for a water heater. Seemed like a lot but Al's employee advised other plumbers charged by the hour and it would cost us more. We were stressed for time and hot water and reluctantly agreed. It took four hours. Looking forward to a hot shower that evening, we discovered the hot water heater was not working. We attempted to call Al's Plumbing, but there was no after hour service or any type of service. My husband has missed a day of work and I am now missing a day of work. We are unable to get a returned phone call and my husband drove the Al's physical location. The windows were blacked-out and the door was locked. In the meantime, I have learned the market place charges $1,000.00 to $1,300.00. Our credit card has been charged $2,500.00, we have a water heater that does not work, and we cannot get anyone to respond to our telephone calls. We are living a nightmare!
Pros: Responded quickly at initial contact.
Cons: Charged too much and water heater does not work. Noone will call us back.
