Held my 23rd bday celebration last night and everything went perfectly. I have to admit I was a bit skeptical at first, reading all the reviews--the birthday party breakdown just sounded too good to be true: drink specials for my friends and I drink for free?! But everything worked out as such even despite setting up the specifics with the booker (who didn't provide much detail about anything over the phone). The bartender (didn't get her name unfortunately) was great and even offered to call the owner to set things up. The two of them were so accommodating.\r

Being a Tuesday night and a holiday, the place was really all to ourselves. I definitely suggest the mezzanine space for a larger, more raucous gathering (pool table!) over the low-lit back couches. Above all--the drinks are craaaaaazy cheap!!! Where else in the city can you throw a party with a reserved space, free birthday drinks and open bar options AT NO CHARGE!!!?? Yeah, nowhere but here.\r

I am having ALL my parties here from now on.
Pros: Super friendly staff, cheap drinks, funky space, pool table
Cons: No chalk for pool
