Review content:
I'm very frustrated. After the TSO stopped accepting the ""foster care"" medicaid, we had to switch to Texan Eye Care in Georgetown. I was relieved that someone else took the insurance that wasn't 100 miles away! We got in over spring break, got the new glasses ordered. After 4 weeks (yes, this is medicaid, it takes that long) I called and asked if the glasses were in. The woman informed me that they were. Never explained why we hadn't receieved a call yet about them or said anything else. \r \r We attempted to go in on a Saturday. They are closed! It's not a case of we just missed them on Saturday, but they are only open Mon-Fri, 8a-5pm! When I called to ask them if they were open on Good Friday, since the kids are out of school, I was on hold for more than 12 minutes. After FINALLY getting answered, I was expressing my frustration and the woman said ""We aren't going to change our hours!"". Not even, I understand you are upset, I'm sorry this wasn't explained to you or anything. But ""We are a doctor's office and hold doctor's hours"". I told her that all the doctor's I know, including other eye doctor's and regular physicians, offer hours on Saturday and some on Sunday!! \r There was never an apology for the long hold time either. \r \r I'm sorry I'm forced to go here. We may drive the 100 miles for some courtesy!
