Review content:
Don't use this company for anything. Heather and Lisa at Gittleman Management are notorious for not responding to emails or calls.\r
\r
I own and lease a unit in one of the buildings that they manage. I was given a $500+ fine for my tenant failing to move out properly, meaning they did not receive authorization from Gittleman prior to moving.\r
\r
According to my tenant, they tried to give ample notice, but Heather was never available via the phone. After I was given this fine, I tried to contact the management company and present before the Board.\r
\r
Emails to Heather, the Board, and Lisa were not responded to at all. Phone calls to Heather were not responded to until 3 months later (and repeated phone calls during that time as well). When a response was given, Heather blamed accounting and told me to call them. I called accounting and received a call back, days later. Accounting told me to talk with Lisa to discuss the $500+ fine. Lisa was unavailable via phone and left me a voicemail simply stating that the fine was there. I called and asked for a time to discuss further, seeing as how Gittleman should remove the fine from my account as they are impossible to get a hold of (a situation my tenant also complained about prior to receiving this fine).\r
\r
Don't do business with these people. They have extorted money from me via bogus fines and then never responding to inquiries. Apparently, it's simple to make money if you fine someone for not contacting you and then make yourself unavailable. Do no do business with this company.
