Review content:
I believe I was robbed by one of the workers of this company.\r \r Fact: On July 13, 2006 Asbestway was the contractor hired by my landlord to replace and repair mold damage to my bathroom due to the tenant above me flooding her bathroom several times.\r \r Fact: My super of the last 6 or 7 years opened my apartment to allow two workers from Asbestway access. No one else was there. My super is unquestionably trustworthy.\r \r Fact: After Asbestway removed the damaged drywall and ceiling the super, alone, replaced the toilet seal in the apartment above me and we let the area dry for a day. No one else entered the apartment.\r \r Fact: Super let the two Asbestway workers back in to restore drywall and ceiling and to paint.\r \r Fact: And, just a side note, workers stored paint material in my living room and walked across a silk $1,500 oriental rug with paint on their shoes. Luckily, it came off easily. But, c'mon, that is completely unacceptable.\r \r Fact: Asbestway completed their work and left.\r \r Fact: In my kitchen, above my sink, is a shelf. This shelf shares the wall of the wall they repaired in the bathroom.\r \r Fact: On that shelf was a 1940's blue and white covered dish manufactured by the Hall company. Dish was approximately 5 inches.\r \r Fact: In that dish were a couple of nothing items and my solid gold class ring from college.\r \r Fact: That dish and all it's contents is gone. Not missing -- gone.\r \r Fact: No one has been in my kitchen between the workers being there and the discovery of the missing dish.\r \r Fact: I called Asbestway to inquire.\r \r Fact: They are super nice on the phone and told me a man and his son did the work.\r \r Fact: The man has been with the company for over ten years with an impeccable reputation.\r \r Fact: I believe them.\r \r Speculation. Getting the man's number and speaking with him he is in denial about his son. I believe and have very little doubt his son stole the dish and pawned/melted down my ring.\r \r I can't prove this.
