Review content:
There are only two or three sushi places in Manhattan that I absolutely love (both are downtown); most are just average in my opinion. Sushi Yu 2 however is not only fabulous, but incredibly affordable! We tried some basic rolls, like spicy tuna and salmon avocado and they were tasty, but I was most impressed with the more interesting combinations like the crazy dragon roll and the butterfly roll. For dessert, we had the fried banana, which was also tasty: it was prepared in a Japanese fashion, similarly as shrimp tempura, while maintaining a Washington Heights character (like fried plantains). Additionally the service was very good. I'm planning on eating here regularly and recommend that you try it for yourself!
