After searching for a good stylist for a few years (trust me, I've had some bad experiences) I finally decided to go Janet Rufin's based on the Citysearch reviews. I have to admit, I was a little skeptical taking advice from reviewers who I don't even know, however I was pleasantly surprised. The atmosphere is cozy, comfortable with good lighting and there's a backyard where you can get some air while you're waiting for your highlights to set in. There was no attitude which is a huge plus for me. Jennifer did my color and highlights and she was amazing!! She was friendly and accommodating and and did a great job. I left the salon feeling amazing. Although it's a bit expensive, I knew I got what I paid for and didn't feel taken advantage of. I would highly recommend the salon and will definitely be going back soon.
