in my color and cut. I went there thinking, from the reveiws on City Search, that my cut and color would be amazing. Perhaps I put too much faith in City Search itself, but I've used this site for years. To my disappointment, I had the worst haircut and the color seems blah. I expect shiny hair (my hair is long and already in good health). I think that the reviews are from people who either have been going to Janet for a good length of time (as she has been at this same salon for years when it was owned and operated by someone different) or they haven't experienced a great NYC hair cut and color. I am sorry to say, Don't Go Here!
Pros: Pleasant atmosphere; nice receptionist and mannerly staff
Cons: Not so great color and defintely one of the worst cuts I've had
