Janet Ruffin's parlor is the best salon in NYC. It has a great, casual atmosphere, everybody is super friendly and Janet is a genius. I went there not satisfied with my hair color -it was not that bad, just not exciting. Janet listened to what I wanted, was very kind about the highlights I already had and announced that she had plans for me! A couple of hours later I emerged with sunny, bright, wonderful highlights, she had completely understood what I wanted! Also, Veronica is excellent, she gave me a fabulous haircut.\r
You will not be disappointed; it is a very high-end salon with a cool and super friendly attitude!\r
Pros: Genius hair color, great cut, very friendly and nice.
Cons: A little expensive but it is worth it.
