It took me 5 years of living in NYC to find the best blond colorist in the city. After going to the ""top"" very expensive salons and getting horrible brassy or yellow color, my friend (who has been going to Janet for 10 years) gave me her inside tip. Janet's low key attitude and experience make her unintimidating when telling her what you want, either color or cut. Of course I always beg her to make me ""more blond"" and my hair always comes out looking great. Even my boyfriend notices the color and compliments me on it after leaving her parlor. If you are sick of the snobby, factory like NY salons, go to Janet and I promise you will be forever converted!!! \r
