Review content:
After spending years dropping so much (hard-earned) cash on celebrity colorists, I am thrilled to discover Janet Rufin's salon. I have asian hair and it's rare to find a colorist who can give me soft color with natural highlights--usually, if I go to less expensive salons, I end up with red brittle hair with orange stripes for highlights. So, I eventually resigned myself to forking over a significant handful of my earnings to pay for good hair color. But, this kind of spending couldn't last (I gotta eat) and this is when I gave Janet Rufin a try. I was apprehensive when I met the beautifully blond Stacey (can she do asian hair??!!). But, after she was through, I was amazed. My hair was glossy, and the color/highlight was perfectly rich, natural-looking, and so flattering. I have had so many compliments and after 2 months, the color still remains rich and beautiful. Stacey has an amazing gift. And unlike other shi-shi salons, you deal with just one person (not a dizzying crew of assistants with more attitude than talent) from beginning to end. Stacey listened to my concerns and delivered beyond my expectations. I left the salon with the prettiest head of hair ever! She is an amazing find.
Pros: Talent, Service, Ambience
