Review content:
I've got a 30-ft pontoon/house boat at Crosswinds Marina. While out in the 3-ft low water, my prop hit bottom, and disabled my boat. The combination of TowBoatUSA, the Marina staff, and Boatworks repair shop *really* helped out. In particular, Boatworks could have fabricated a story and charged me a lot of money (how would I know, me not knowing a lot about inboard/outboard internals!) But they were very honest and found that the problem was relatively small (not even the engine or drive system!) They were very accommodating. They communicated frequently, and explained everything they were doing, and answered all my questions in detail. They promptly returned my calls. They were there when they said they'd be. They provided a detailed invoice of the work done. They were very polite, friendly, and personable. While I had the boat in for the repair, I had several other routine maintenance things done: new impeller, fluids changed, oil changed, fixed a bad relay on trim control, cleaned the hull (man, that hull looked *great* afterwards!), etc. I think they did a great job, at a reasonable price. I'm picky and hard to please, and I'm very happy with Boatworks.
