Review content:
I had been boarding my dog there since she was a puppy. I had really come to like american dog & cat and so had my dog. We also really love Heidi, she is a great person and really cares for the animals. Recently my dog got bite at the hotel. She had to have 15 stitches in her back. The bite was down into the muscle, so she obviously screamed out when it happened. No one said anything to us when we picked her up. I understand that accidents can happen in these environments. I work with my dog around people and other dogs all the time. My dog is a therapy dog. I may have decided to stay on as a client had the situation been handled with some care. But the owners were extremely callous the way they treated us. Our family (especially our 2 children) was very upset about what happened. We received no compassion from these people. They did not try to compensate us for the $500 vet bill. Nor did they refund over $400 in doggie daycare. Not even ""Sorry "" I now have heard they have had other complaints...I wished someone would have warned me. BE WARNED!!!
